As A Caretaker Of The Earth...

I source all of our ingredients as close to home as possible and over 90% of our ingredients are sourced in Oregon and Washington by small family owned businesses like mine. I offer free local delivery to cut down on larger vehicles delivering our products, and always combine trips to minimize car pollution. I love when I get to walk or take my bike to make a delivery! I have adopted a zero waste policy and try to always go with the minimal amount of packaging and ingredients.  Proudly, in 2022, I was able to commit to my plan and am now packaging my products in compostable or recyclable packaging, including the shrink wrap used for my single use products.  I recycle and up cycle every piece of packaging I can. At Handcrafted PDX LLC we are constantly learning and finding new ways to improve and part of that is looking at ways to care for and be good to our Earth. We go out in our local community and do clean ups periodically. I source every ingredient I use with sustainability at top of mind which is aligned with my personal values. I have always been an outdoor girl with a huge obsession for the peace nature provides and if I was doing harm to the Earth in any way I could not be at peace within myself. Love, Saundra
